Adjoining Nassau County, the Village of Little Neck on Little Neck Bay was once home to the Matinnacock Indians whose burial grounds remain near the Long Island Expressway. There are imposing historic and modern homes overlooking the Bay and over 340 luxury apartment buildings of 50+ units in the region. Little Neck has the highest median family income in the Borough of Queens.
