Central Queens Edition
Central Queens: A region of middle class residential villages accessed by Queens Boulevard, a main arterial highway. The region is well known for the Incorporated Village of Forest Hills Gardens, a residential enclave containing magnificent English Tudor style estates, privately-owned brick-paved roadways and handsome trees. The village has its own station on the Long Island RR and a small shopping area called Station Square featuring boutique shops and restaurants. Non-residents are prohibited from parking on the private streets inside the Gardens.
